European regulations (EC) No 1907/2006 says Reach, requires limitations of the use of several heavy metals in costume jewelry. Responsible Jewelery Council is a non -profit international organization bringing together more than 350 member companies through the jewelry supply chain.
RJC members are committed to promoting ethical responsibility, human rights, social and environmental practices in a transparent and responsible manner in the mine industry. Their commitment aims to strengthen the confidence of consumers and stakeholders in jewelry products.
RJC is a certification system, which applies to all members, companies that contribute Gold and diamond.
Under the RJC system, all members of the RJC trade must be verified by accredited organizations, third party auditors in order to verify their compliance with RJCs, code of practices, and to become certified under the RJC system. To know more, Click here.
